Who we are

Grenville Court, the home of Research Information.

Research Information Ltd (RIL) was established in 1993 by three of the current board of directors who between them have over 90 years experience in the STM (Scientific, Technical, Medical) and Professional publishing sectors. Each had spent at least ten years with Elsevier Science, the world's largest STM publishing group, and had also worked for smaller organisations.

Since incorporation, RIL has expanded through organic growth and acquisition, purchasing a number of influential newsletters and journals.

Our success in food regulation & safety, crop protection, development and other areas has helped us to develop new products and to seek further acquisitions.

The company now has four full-time directors, who carry out and supervise the editorial, production, distribution and marketing functions. Much of the editorial work is done through freelance staff who are experts in their own field.
