ONLINE Access Request

A number of Research Information publications are available online. Individuals & organisations or subscription agents wishing to arrange access for themselves, their organisations or their clients should read below.

Please note that online access is normally granted only to paying subscribers to the appropriate publication.

Individuals and organisations

Each printed issue despatched through the post has a mailing label similar to the example, right. Each label carries a unique subscriber number, shown outlined in red on this example. Providing your subscriber number will enable us to grant access more quickly.

If you cannot supply your subscriber number you must supply the full delivery address to which your printed issues are sent. Please ensure that this is as accurate as possible, as we will use it to identify your subscription order in our records.

Individuals normally gain access to content via a username/password login. We will provide you with a username and password by email after verifying your subscription details.

Organisations will normally gain access control through IP address checking. You will need to supply the appropriate IP address(es) so that we can set up access for you. Please contact your own computer support department for information on the correct address(es) to specify. Please note that it is not possible for us to help with queries pertaining to computer systems or equipment belonging to your organisation and/or to third parties.

Organisations that do not have suitable fixed IP address(es) may be allocated access via a username/password login at our discretion. Please email us if this situation applies to you.

In all cases, please click the appropriate link below and complete an online access request form. We will advise by email when access has been set up.

Please make sure your email address is correct or we will be unable to contact you.

Subscription Agents

Subscription agents wishing to arrange online access for their clients should email a copy, or full details, of their PAID subscription order covering the relevant period to onlinecontent@researchinformation.co.uk in plain text or PDF format. Details of the subscriber's IP address(es) should also be supplied (see above).

In the case of orders that are not delivered direct to the end user, please note that we require the full end-user address before access can be granted.

We will set up access for the end user and confirm to you and/or the client when this has been done. We will request further information from you if we have any queries about the status of the subscription.

If you do not hold electronic copies of your orders, you may post or fax a copy to our offices, although this may take considerably longer.
