Profile: Readers (approximately 12,000) include development workers and researchers working on behalf of development agencies, NGOs, international aid agencies and co-ordinating bodies, government-funded institutions, UN and inter-governmental organisations, agencies of the OECD, and research organisations. Many readers are in a position of authority and specify/recommend development expenditure.

Distribution: Appropriate Technology has a paid circulation distributed approximately 30% in UK & Europe, 50% developing countries, and 20% rest of the world. Normally 2000 copies are printed and circulated, with extra copies printed for distribution at relevant exhibitions/conferences.

Publication frequency: Quarterly (March, June, September and December).
Copy date: 20th of the middle month in each quarter (e.g. 20th Feb for Jan-Mar issue.
Cancellations: Accepted at least 6 weeks prior to publication
